On Saturday, August 12th Cage Titans is back at Plymouth Memorial Hall for another action packed fight card. Headlining the event is the #1 ranked bantamweight in New England, undefeated Manny Bermudez (9-0) battling extremely tough veteran Bendy Casimir (20-14-2) out of Las Vegas. Bermudez has quickly become the hottest prospect not yet signed to the UFC and will look to prove once again that it is just a matter of time until he gets there. Standing in his way and looking to derail the hype train though, is arguably his toughest test to date in Bendy Casimir, who is a veteran of almost 40 fights over a 16 year professional career, competing in some of the largest organizations in the world.

In an other highly anticipate match-up on the Main Card, undefeated Joe Giannetti takes on Connor Barry. This is a fight that has been talked about dating back to when both were amateurs and it was only a matter of time before they got to settle who was the better fighter inside the cage. Since turning pro only a year ago, Giannetti has quickly made a name for himself as a rising star by racking up an unblemished 5-0 record, finishing 4 out of his 5 fights within the first round. Not to be outdone, the extremely well-rounded Barry is another highly touted prospect and is looking to continue his climb through the local rankings with an impressive win here.

This card will also see the return of ‘The Unpredictable One’ Sean Lally when he takes on Florida’s Avery McPhatter. Lally is known as being a complete wrecking ball when the cage door closes with all of his wins coming via finish, 5 out of the 6 coming within the first round and his quickest in just 8 seconds. As for McPhatter, he has been competing professionally for over 7 years and over that time has established himself as a pretty complete fighter with his wins coming in all varieties, 2 KO, 5 submissions and 2 decisions.

Rounding out the rest of the 7 fight Main Card, Frank Sforza and Jimmy ‘The Tooth’ Manning look to keep their perfect records intact in separate bouts, two long-time local fight veterans Johnny ‘Cupcakes’ Campbell and Dan Cormier finally meet inside the cage and after a succesful pro debut, Jeff Perez looks to make it two in a row when he takes on Ohio’s Shawn Rall. In addition, kicking things off for the Main Card will be current 170lb Cage Titans Amateur Champion Bobby Gasdia defending his title for the first time against Angelo Richardson.

As always the Undercard will be stacked with a wide variety of hungry, up and coming, amateur fighters just getting their starts in the sport as well as established amateurs looking to position themselves higher in the rankings with hopes of earning an amateur title shot. With that being said, the flyweights will be front and center when Joe Smith takes on William Graustuck and Mitch Raposo battles Nick Amendola with all of the contestants hoping a win puts them next in line to challenge newly crowned champion Jake Kasperwoski. Plus, in a fight that very well could produce a highlight reel Knock-out of the Night, Cage Titans 6 second KO record holder Chris O’Brien takes on the talented and dangerous striker Quentin Harris.
