On Saturday, June 15th Cage Titans returns to Plymouth Memorial Hall for its next installment featuring in the Main Event former The Ultimate Fighter Finalist Joe Joe Giannetti (7-1-1) taking on his most experienced opponent yet in D’Juan Owens (17-13-1) out of North Carolina. Giannetti has his sights set on returning to the UFC by the end of the summer and has been seeking out the toughest competition here locally to prove that he belongs at that next level. As for Owens, this veteran is no stranger to that story, up and comer with big aspirations, and has been in this position many of times, playing the role of spoiler by coming in from out of state to ruin the hometown fighter’s plans. (Just last month he traveled to Canada, fighting and beating the president of the promotion in their Main Event)

As for the Co-Main Event, a New England dream match-up between Peter Barrett and Zach DiSabatino goes down in a fight that fans could not believe was happening when it was first announced. Barrett has been a staple atop the lightweight division since turning pro 5 years ago and while DiSabatino has only been a pro for a little over a year and a half, he burst into the ranks by racking up 5 impressive wins all by finish. These types of fights are career defining and has many asking…Does the seasoned veteran have what it takes to knockdown the young, up and comer and keep his throne or do we see the passing of the torch to a new lightweight top dog within the Cage Titans organization.

In addition, the AM Bantamweight Title will also be on the line when fan favorite, Arthur Mpofu defends his belt for the first time against former training partner Jeffrey Joy. This is a match-up that has happened on the gym mats many of times and now that they no longer train together, was destined to go down inside the cage, especially now since both fighters have dispatched of all other contenders.
