Cage Titans 51 on February 5th

With 2021 in the rearview mirror, Cage Titans looks to breakthrough to new heights in 2022 and stakes will be at an all time high as an unprecedented FIVE Cage Titans Championship Titles will be on the line for the first event of the year on Saturday, February 5th.

A total of three professional titles will be on the line and in the Main Event, Cage Titans Lightweight Champion and TUF Vet ‘Skeletor’ Joe Giannetti makes his first title defense when he takes on BJJ Black Belt, Jacob Bohn. Then in the Co-Main Event, the vacant Cage Titans Featherweight Title will be looking for a new home when fan-favorite ‘Shameless’ Don Shainis battles feared New Yorker, ‘Super’ Shane Manley. And in the final pro title fight of the night, ‘The Party’ Joe Penafiel and Lionel ‘Boogz’ Young square off for the Interim Bantamweight Title, with the winner securing an eventual unification fight down the line with current champion Jay Perrin.

As for the other two titles up for grabs, those will take place in the amateur division. First up, ‘The Gladiator’ Andrew Valdina, fresh off KO, Fight and Fighter of the Year Nominations, hopes to build off of an amazing 2021 campaign and capture the vacant AM Bantamweight Title when he takes on former champion Arthur Mpofo. Then the big boys are up and the vacant AM Middleweight Title is on the line for the first time since 2016 when Citadel’s Jideofor Ojukwu battles undefeated Colin Robinson.
