Legends collide as Cage Titans kicks off 2024 in emphatic fashion on January 27 th at Plymouth Memorial Hall, what some are now calling “The Colosseum” an appropriate moniker for the fights taking place on the first card of the new year. In the main event is the much-anticipated crowning of a Flyweight Champion in a long-awaited matchup between #1 Ranked Mitch Raposo and #2 Ranked Justin Valentin. And if that wasn’t enough gold on the line, witness the crowning of a new Amateur Welterweight Champion, and the inaugural “O.G” Championship fight that defies all odds when Cage Titans 63 goes live on January 27th .
A Flyweight Champion will be crowned when Mitch Raposo (8-1, 3 SUB, 3KO) finally takes on JustinValentin (4-2, 2 SUB, 1KO) in a match up that has been months in the making. Fans will be satisfied when these two finishers showcase their skills, Raposo hungry as ever to continue his run of stoppages on route to a Contender Series return, or Big Show opportunity. Over the course of a decorated amateur and professional career, Valentin has never needed a referee’s mercy in a fight, a durability that will come in handy when the submission specialist aims to spoil Raposo’s momentum attempting to find a highlight finish of his own in his highly anticipated Cage Titans Debut.
Also featuring at Cage Titans 63 – Brian Cosco and Greg Jones will prove that it is never too late to achieve a dream as the O.G Champion will be crowned for the first time. Cosco at 46 years old has been a New England staple for years, and Jones shattered expectations in his pro debut at 50 years old last year, we had to put a belt on the line for these two showing the masses how to age like the finest of wines. And Amateur Championship fights have been some of the all-time great moments in Cage Titans history, January 27 th should prove no different as Ozzy Martin returns for his second chance at gold when he welcomes Cullen Johnson to Plymouth for the first time.
