Cage Titans returns to Plymouth Memorial Hall on September 23 rd for Cage Titans 61, and this time it’s international business.

Two belts are on the line as Heavyweight champion Ras Hylton looks to simultaneously avenge a loss and defend his belt when he takes on Jashua Marsh in a gigantic rematch in the co-main, all headlined when the lightweight champion Joe Giannetti puts his belt on the line against Canadian contender Michael Dufort in the main event.

The hockey rivalry dating back to the days of the original 6 comes to life at Memorial Hall when the Cage Titans lightweight strap goes up for grabs in the Main Event. Michael Dufort, 11-4 (8 SUB, 2 KO) made an impression on the Plymouth crowd when he visited for a face off in July, donning his Montreal Canadiens jersey to the ever so loyal Boston Bruins fans at Memorial Hall, fully embracing his role as the
travelling heel with the goal in mind to take the Cage Titans lightweight strap back to his home country of Canada, becoming the first international Cage Titans champion. He has already shown he is comfortable in enemy territory and looks to show the crowd he is not only coming for a ruse, but to be the man to take the gold from the defending champion.

Joe Giannetti, 14-4 (7 SUB, 5 KO) has been on a tear at the hall winning two belts since returning in 2021 and looks to keep his lightweight strap in Massachusetts aiming to be the first man to finish Dufort in competition. The TUF alum is determined to keep his winning ways going on his path to return for another shot at the big show, and this is a title defense worthy of national attention as both men have a knack for keeping the judges out of the fight, and neither man has been finished in their entire career. Durability, and finishing prowess will be on full display in this monumental lightweight title fight.

Setting the stage for this epic main event is a fight that is literally more massive than what follows as newly crowned inaugural Heavyweight Champion Ras Hylton, returns for his first title defense against the man who handed him his first professional loss, Jashua Marsh. Marsh was able to finish Hylton in the first round of their first meeting back in 2018 and aims to have history repeat itself on the 23rd and become the Cage Titans Champion. He had his eyes on the title fight back in May, and was immediately ready to throw his name in the mix of challengers when Ras Hylton was able to stop Brendan Battles in the second round of their contest. The new champion did not hesitate to sign the dotted line when he knew he had the chance to accomplish two goals at once, defend the crown, and avenge the first loss on one night, September 23rd at Cage Titans 61.
